The vet here ran up a huge bill in one hour, only to return my pet to me (because it is not really a 24 hour facility) with almost no explanation of what the medical problem was and telling me to bring it back the next morning. The vet at the second place I brought it to immediately was concerned with the lack of pain medicine given my pet and then right away described to me in full the hopeless nature of the situation including the short, low quality life my pet would endure in the slim chance it lived. (Online research I did after proved the second vet to be telling the truth). The second vet could also have run up a huge bill, but instead was honest and took the lower fee to put my pet to sleep. \r
