Dr. Bowen's staff greets you and are very freindly for the first or 50th visit. Every time, Dr. Bowen will talk with you before an exam. He will explain what he feels is important in the treatment of a problem or if no problem, he will ask about any thing you need to know before an exam. Any family member who you want with you, is invited to listen and to discuss what they are concerned about also. After he talks to a patient, he then will leave and will return with a nurse to assist him. If you want your husband/family member to stay in the room, they are welcome to stay. He is very aware of any discomfort and makes eye contact and talks and ask questions as he is telling you every where he touches and why and will reassure and explain what he is doing and why. My surgery was good and the care after made me feel like a person, not a number as I have with other doctors. I called with questions and he returned my phone calls . The concern of Dr. Bowen and his office staff is exceptional.
Pros: A great family Ob/Gyn for teens to seniors.
Cons: Since he gives everyone the care that they need and does not rush, he can run late for an appointment
