I, too, shopped around and selected Duke University Eye Center for my procedure. In fact, I've had several different procedures performed there by different doctors over the last 5 years. The physicians have all been professional, highly skilled, kind, caring and friendly. The staff members were the same, without exception. One man told me he has brought his mother to Duke University Eye Center for over 20 years and declared, ""This is as good as it gets."" He drives from his home in this area to the coast to get her and bring her to her eye appointment . Another patient told me her sight had been saved by a Duke University Eye Center physician. I would not go anywhere else.
