I took a dog a neighbor had dumped in the neighborhood to Olde Towne. I explained I wanted to get his shots, didn't know if he had ever had any but thought he might. The dog was very skittish and I was trying to work with him to resolve that, because the couple that had him previously had abused the dog. The vet insisted on more than one visit for the shots and charged more than any vet I have ever been to for my own animals and she came extremely close to accusing me of abusing the dog. Of course the dog was skittish, he had been abused in his previous home and I had gotten him out of there. I was working with the dog to get him over that and had only had him a few days.
