We took our pets there for their shots, and we took a stray in for an exam. The dog had obviously been well cared for at one time because her nails were neatly trimmed. I tried to find her owner but had no luck. I also thought she might be pregnant. Arnold Animal Hospital has several vets. We ended up with one that saw dollar signs. I asked if the dog was pregnant and she said she could be but they wouldn't be able to tell for awhile. She said that if the dog got bigger, to bring her in and they could tell. I told her IF the dog got bigger, I would be able to tell. So, we got the shots and went home. That evening, I noticed worms in the stray's stools and around her anus. I called the vet and she said I needed to bring her back in to be tested and would be charged another office visit.
