It's been a while, I must admit since I've been to piatti - it had that 90's ""friends"" vibe and so I stayed away for the last 5-6 years. Last resort last night, I was starving and didn't want to make the trek to SB so I succumbed. Wow! The food was five star - the wine list impressive, and the service impeccable. Go in now and try the new chef's red wine braised beef Short Rib with summer squash ?Linguini? before he takes it off the menu. I highly recommend this based on this one experience.
