The food was no more than passable. The ambiance was rustic , bordering on declase (time to update those busted old menus, guys). What really made this a truly regrettable dining experience was the service. It was downright insulting. I've lived in Astoria for 10 years now, and I'm used to being treated differently than the Greeks. That's fine. But, for example, when my mother asked for cream for her coffee (the nerve!), the servers response was, ""No! We only have Milk! What, do you NEED cream for your coffee?!"" And this was just the final insult. So much better in the area that isn't abusive to its customers.
