Yes the interior of this resturant is run down - If you are looking for ambiance, look elsewhere. But if you are looking for the finest most authentic FOOD, then this is Tucsons finest. We have been to every indian food restaurant in Tucson many many times and this one is by far the most consistent and delicious. The service is NOT bad - It is just not rushed. Many diners want to be served by a butt kissing waiter who will pamper you, but many more just want to be left alone with their meal and drinks. Food is ready when it is ready - you cant rush perfection. Beware - If you ask for spicy you are going to get it! They dont spare the butter around here, and the ingredients are exceedingly fresh. I have never had a dish here I didnt like.
