I am a NC Native whose Mother worked @ Krispy Kreme when she was first married, over 60 years ago and it was located across the street, near where Conti's market is now. It was literally a hole in the wall then and they didn't have all the fancy machines to make those melt in your mouth doughnuts. Krispy Kreme is by far the BEST Doughnut on earth, especially when they are ""hot off the conveyor"". There is absolutely no better treat than to visit on a cold winters night for some of the hot glazed with a glass of cold milk or a cup of their great coffee. I just don't understand why the home of this delight doesn't have more locations. We need more locations!!!!
