Ive been there twice. I was realy looking forward to finding a lounge bar in the ontario area, because i generaly have to drive to LA to find a decient Bar...\r

the first time was pretty great except the fact that if people werent pumping quarters into the jukebox the atmosphere went dead as a doornail. a nice strategy to make money, but it was kind of anoying most the place seemed to be content to let me and my brother pay for the music all night. \r

The second time i went with my girlfriend, and aparently it was 'gay night' or something. Nothing but men holding hands and stuff, which is cool with us, gay bars are some of the best hang outs in LA. But we got a lot of discouraging looks here from most people for being the only straight couple. It was just a very unwelcome atmosphere so we were out after one beer. \r

The atmosphere is of a very worn-in pub. Not dirty, but its deffinetely been there a while. The second time we went they were sold out of most there taps, either that or they were trying to get rid of us. It was very strange the contrast between my two visits...\r

anyway, it seems to be the best 'lounge' bar in the ontario/upland area, but that may be because there is practicaly no competition. I doubt ill ever go back. I'd rather drive 45 mins to ""The bigfoot lodge"" where the atmosphere is amazing, and the service is always top-notch. The Black Watch is just not worth it. I dont go to pubs that often, maybe once or twice a month, so when i do, I want a great experience for my money. Guess ill keep driving to LA...
