I've been to a couple of shelters in this area (Killeen/Copperas Cove) and so far this is the cleanest one I've seen. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can view all the dogs that are for adoption. There are seperate kennels for dogs that are in ""quarentine."" Not to say something is wrong with them just a place to stay to make sure they are healthy enough for adoption, or if an owner comes to claim their dog. The dogs have access to inside. The water was fresh and I was there in the afternoon. Very clean place for animals. I am planning on going back and adopting a dog this week. Kudos to Cove Animal Shelter.
