A recent trip to Bacaro left a fetid taste on the toungue. While the atmosphere was nice, the restaurant mostly attended by local business workers and older, well-dressed patrons, the food did not match the decor. The tapas were actually appetizing, especially the fried risotto. For the main dish, I ordered ""Pasta a funghi"", which the waitress insisted on pronouncing incorrectly. The main meal took an hour to prepare because of a mixup in one of our party's orders. During the long wait (about 45 minutes into the wait), the kitchen offered us a rather stale Ceasar salad in the interim. The salad was practically dead, and obvious made with pity and the intent to make us want to still tip after such an atrocity. Furthermore, when mentioned that I'm a vegetarian, I okayed the use of anchovies on the salad, and it contained none.
Pros: Ambience, nice tapas, nice wait staff
Cons: Wait staff seemed misinformed, pasta was undercooked, sorbet was mislabelled
