I have visited this cafe a number of times. Most recently I was shocked by the horrible service I received. I went into the restaurant and the lady at the counter (who seemed to be the owner) snapped at me that SHE will seat me somewhere, as though I had gone and sat myself down some where. I didn't! I was waiting there for her to seat me! how strange.
Then she looked my family over and said "ALL of you are coming in?" (there was only 4 of us, one of which is a 6 year old girl) I was like "Well of course ALL of us!" what a ridiculous question! I said "Actually, we'll just get something to go" because I did not want to have to deal with this crazy lady. She then said "Well, what do you want?" "A menu!" I replied...DUH. I ordered a pizza (which tasted horrrrrible) and paid for it immediately.
I went outside for about 15 minutes while it was being made and when I went back in, some other guy was at the counter and said "Uhh, you need to pay for that pizza" and I said "Oh, I already paid, I paid when I ordered it" and he said "Oh DID you?" asif I was lying! I said "Yes I did!" and immediately left.
How ridiculous and rude and unacceptable! I would never go there again!
Pros: cute spot on the boardwalk
Cons: gross food, terrible service
