As a former Service-provider to the OCME, I have seen firsthand the environment of the Oakland County Medical Examiner's Office. I was always favorably impressed with the dignity, compassion, and seriousness-of-purpose displayed by every employee of the Office. At the time of the extraordinary stress created by an unexpected death of a loved one, families and/or next-of-kin should take some measure of comfort in knowing that the remains of their loved one are treated, at all times, by the Oakland County Medical Examiner's Staff with the utmost of dignity and respect.
