After much research, I decided that CTS was a quality school and would offer me the challenging education I desired. I have been a part of their DMin program for the past eight months and I am completely satisfied. I graduated from Southern Seminary in 1978 where I received a first class education. I must say, after personal experience, that CTS rates right up there with Southern. If you are seeking a PhD in order to teach at a well known seminary, then CTS would not be for you. However, if you want a super education that would help you be more effective in the local church, then do not hesitate to consider Covington. I am a part of the distance learning program-which is very challenging. I do miss the lectures, class attendance, and relationship building, but since I am unable to leave my current church position and move to Georgia, it is certainly meeting my need. The faculty and staff truly care about all their students (even the ones they have never met). I totally agree with the review by shaptoothbarney!!!
