Like any caring owner who wants the best for their pet I was on a search for the best place to neauter my basset mix Harold. As you know prices are sky high in LA so is getting your pet neautered. I looked for something that i could afford but realized they may be cheap but not safe. Then I looked at places that were more costly but found many are smoke & mirrors, over priced, and don't appear to care for the animals. If they're not making me feel able to leave my Harry over the phone i'm not going to.A friend suggested the free spay neuter mobiles. They seem trust worthy and if meet the requirements it's free. The only thing is you leave a message for them and they'll contact you.they did try & but i missed the call in short we played cat & ..... Harry needed to get neautered soon. I hear it's not as good to neauter males after 7 months if you want them not to be depressed.. I stumbled on to Golden state humane society they were so nice when they spoke to me over the phone, were able to answer all my questions, & set up our appointment. Harry weighs 20 pds he's almost six months and our cost was around 50 bucks for getting him neautered & pain medication which is a great deal. I was glad to know he was safe & in good hands. On arrival and departure everyone we spoke with was nice and smart. I would highly recomend them to everyone and can happily say the trip is worth it. Harry came home and is already back to his normal playful self, except a little upset at wearing the flower collar he looks adorable.i took him in a petco carrier on the blue line subway all the way to artesia then board the 130 bus & got off at atlantic & artesia the humane society is across the street & so is the other 130 bus stop to take you back to the subway station. this is faster & easier then taking them on a two hour bus ride. just make sure when you put him in the carrier the flower collar is off the petco carrier is great beacuse they can turn around in the box but not lick the wound.
Pros: Everthing price service, vet, commitment, love for animals
Cons: it's in long beach
