When they first opened they were 5 Star Plus! Now they are rushed and have slipped to (my opinion) about a 4 star...still good, but not top notch. Example: Last time I was there for a regular tire rotation, with an appointment, I waited an hour and one-half, sitting there the whole time. Finally when I asked about my car,they said, ""Well, we called your name, Leon and then put it away because you did not answer!"" I am not a man and am not Leon....apparently Leon had my phone number four years ago. I was told it could NEVER be changed on their records so from now on I am listed as Leon >>>> Ann >>>. Does that make sense? Then yesterday when I called to say I needed to come in because the one of the Michelin tires I bought as a set a year ago came completely off the wheel at 4:00 a.m. on the Gulf Freeway as I was on the way (alone) to Intercontinental Airport. Thank God for AAA! I made it to the airport and thought that when I returned I would drive to Discount Tire and they would replace the tire. When I called from NY the day before I was to return they said, ""We don't have any appointments tomorrow."" I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was too busy but I could speak to the assistant manager, Matt. His whole tone of voice was dismissive ""sure, come on by, little lady...we'll take care of you miz rice(not my name). Scott, the manager is very professional and very competent but he cannot take care of everything himself. If only the others were like him. Well, we shall see what tomorrow brings. I have used Discount Tire for many years, but their customer service has declined to the point that I am not sure I will continue to do so.
