I have been in the city for over 30 years now and have been to the best of the best when it comes to salons. My makeup artist that I have been using for 10 years was unavailable for an event where I needed to look great. I do my makeup well, but definitely not professionally. I also like the way individual lashes look, and I cannot do them myself. I saw these reviews and booked an appointment. When I went to Shara's studio, I was surprised to see a pretty 20-something open the door. I have had my experiences with makeup artists in their 20s and was hesitant. Let me just say that I believe she did a better job on my face than I have ever had. She did the PERFECT smokey eye and was confident the entire time. She has a keen eye for color and taste, which in my book is very important. Makeup is all about style, and she has obviously had years of experience. She also had a very soft touch and I didnt feel as though I was being poked and proded. It was very relaxing and soothing. I recommend her with no qualms. She is my new makeup artist. Now, I just need to find a way to let my other makeup artist that I am moving on.
