I have the same basic reaction to all courses designed by Johnny Miller - way too difficult for the average player and no fun. The Bridges is, like all Miller courses, well maintained and has the feel of a high end country club, but its just not that fun to play due to the difficulty level. I am a single digit handicap and did not enjoy my experience at the Bridges and would not return, especially at the price they charge. Callippe Preserve down the road in Pleasanton is a much better course, hard but fair and just more pleasant. Miller should stick to broadcasting, which is his full time job at NBC.
