I love this neighborhood restaurant. For the past 10 years it has been my favorite lunch spot in Napa. I must admit that I almost always get the Lamb Gyros, so my review can't speak to most of the menu (Although the cheeseburgers are my teenage daughter's favorite. ) Sure, the interior is a little funky, but not stagnant. The service is always fast and friendly, with many of the same faces there year after year. The Gyro is consistently delicious, with juicy roasted, perfectly-seasoned lamb, in a pita loaded with vegetables that are always fresh. They do a brisk business here, and I am happy to see that there is frequently a line of contented and loyal customers. As a former restaurant owner, I love the vibe and personality of this place. It is truly a refreshing departure from the formula that plagues American dining.
