Total waste of time and a rip off.\r

I set up an appointment to ""update"" my resume. When you get there Dan gives a whole song and dance about how he's going to change your resume. Then he shows you a presumably impressive CEO resume that happened to look just like mine. He then puts the rate sheet in front of you that nowhere near matches the rates listed on the website. \r
\r
This is what the website says: ""As such, our pricing for resume preparation ranges from $75 for the simplest projects, $150 to $250 for moderate documents."" No problem right? I wanted him to update the last 2 years job history. I thought $75 was excessive for this but I would have paid that and more for the convenience. \r
\r
However, Dan refused to update the document and would only redo the whole resume for prices well over $250. I asked him about the pricing on the website and he basically called me a liar and said he wrote the website pricing. \r
\r
Long and short? This is classic bait and switch. Dan tries to get you in there to hear his sales pitch but he calls it a free consultation. Bogus. Don't waste your time unless you're ready to spend well over $250 and are a CEO. Even then I'd call you a mook. I wish citypages would allow a no star rating.
Cons: The prices quoted in the office are way higher than what's on the website.
