We signed a lease and paid the brokers fee, last month's rent, and security deposit. The checks cleared, but Classic Realty refused to give us a copy of the executed lease. Three weeks later, they informed us that the apartment was not available. No reason, no apologies. Jerry Kampler, the owner, was in fact very rude. We did finally get our money back, but I would never, ever work with this company again. There are plenty of other brokers around who are honorable and honest.
