i had the eggs florentine and the husband had the meat lover's special. the hollandaise on the eggs could have used some lemon and a touch of curry in it but at least it was a real sauce because it started to separate as i was almost done eating. the sausage in the meat lover's was differently spiced than one would expect but very good. the place was warm on the first 80+ day in the valley but otherwise comfy and welcoming. not sure i would want to eat there when it was super hot weather. we were seating in a primo spot outside & it was lovely. as a major side note: i know the folks in the neighgorhood hate this place because it's popular and parking overflows into the neighborhood for a few houses in either direction. emigration market is kitty corner from the restaurant and jolley'spharmacy just to the south. it might explain why there are so many houses in the area for sale. it's no reason to be rude though. not sure why they moved there in the 1st place if they didn't want to be able to be within walking distance to these amenities. the neighbors on the side street to the northeast were very rude to me. sorry i walked on the grass at the treeline bordering the street - don't block the sidewalk so people can use it [you, your wife, your exceedling cute child who you were oohhing and ahhing over as he tried to walk and did a face plant on the cement, along with another couple], put a sign up asking people to please not walk on the grass because you just put sod down [it wasn't obvious at all], or don't yell at people to get off the lush grass next to the street/parking. my choice was to walk in the street on the grass bordering it.
Pros: great tats on one of the waitresses
Cons: rude neighbors/parking
