This restaurant has been closed for many moons, probably since early 2007. It was a popular hangout for those who covet the bar scene, DJs, loud music, etc. Typical chain-restaurant food, but popular for many years. No great loss for Alhambra, whose dining scene has really blossomed in the past few years. Variety is amazing for a small downtown, and quality in general is excellent. Main St. even hosts two clubs or lounges. Steak lovers can find better quality than Black Angus and more original accompaniments at a number of nearby restaurants, including Gus's Bar-B-Cue (reopened under new owners April 2008) in South Pasadena, a Specialty Restaurants location at the interchange of the I-10 and I-710 freeways (The Monterey Hill), and all over Pasadena. Plus, most places (unlike Black Angus) take reservations!
Pros: Closed.
Cons: None (see above).
