Wait for the back nine! 5/13/2008

Very good course lay-out. Front nine is lacking some finishing touches and played much like any other course, nothing set it apart! The back nine, however, was a hidden gem. If you like a challenging lay-out, play the front nine quickly!! The back nine provides ample opportunities to test your shot making ability with lots of dog-legs requiring less than a driver off the tee. I was glad to have played the front nine as I had ample opportunity to adjust to the rental clubs -- remember, it's usually the Indian and not the arrows. The back nine gave me the opportunity to work the ball around dog-legs, most guarded by large trees or the creek which seems to follow you. I played some of my best golf in some time on the back nine until I chewed a little too much off the pond -- aim at the tree! The only draw back to my visit was on the front nine, as a single, I followed a twosome who wouldn't let me play through! Oh well, I should have more friends!! \r Pros: Front nine gets you loose for the back nine! Cons: Poor golf etiquite by some players. more
