My husband and I recently purchased some new Blackberry phones from CarToys. We were convinced by the salesman to change carriers and were told that our phones were buy 1 get 1 free (with a $200 mail in rebate). We were told we could cancel our contract if we werent satisfied at any time within 30 days free of charge from AT&T. Of course, just like most things, if it sounds to good to be true...... The only way to get the rebates is to add a $30.00 per month added pkg to your phone (per phone). It's a data pkg that allows you to have internet on your phone. We were told you can cancel this added pkg if you werent satisfied as soon as your rebate comes in the mail (which by the way is 4 months or more from when you purchased said plan). Then the best part is that just when you are finishing all your paperwork (30 or 40 min later) they slip in this Car Toys form that states that if you cancel anything on this new plan in the next 6 months then they will charge you $175 per phone for their own cancellation fee. Please dont get ripped off like we did. They are very misleading and sneaky. To top it all off, the salesman that sold us our phones is a manager there. They should be ashamed of themselves!!! Dont buy a phone from CarToys!!!
