I've been visiting this salon for over 3 years but today I got a very disappointment and scary day. I made a last minute appointment so the receptionist said: ""Sara was the only one available"" for that day. As soon as I arrived, for some reason they switched me with another junior stylist (someone else). At that point, I couldn't understand why, I wanted an explanation for that matter, maybe a notice or at least to wait until a senior stylist was available. Even though I saw Sara with another customer they switch me randomly with someone who was new in the field but very nice. Because all the stylists in the salon have experience then I thought I should give it a try. What a mistake!!!! Actually, I would have rather to wait for another date or just cancel my appointment if I knew who they filled me in with, instead they sent me with someone who is still practicing in customer's hair. Tony has been excellent with her business and clients, but for some reason she slide on. First, even though I explained several times what I wanted and show a photo magazine, the stylist made another hair style to the point the length was too short. Second, she completely over cut the back and at that pointed it looked ruined. I kept explaining what I wanted but it looked she misunderstood or just didn't know. I started getting anxious and upset. So, that's when Toni came and save my hair. She made a fabulous job! I still don't understand why they filled someone who is an apprentice to cut customers hair, instead they should have reschedule my appointment for later or another day. My advice to you is never walk in neither make an appointment for the same date instead wait and do it in advance specially when Toni, Antonella and/or Sara are available. They are great and professional! An advice for the salon: *As another review said I also noticed the comb was pulled out from a drawer. In reality it supposed to have been taken from the disinfected station/area. *Don't filled an appointment if you guys are booked *Don't change hair dressers last minute when the customer arrives, specially don't filled the appointment with someone who is practicing in customer's hair. It looks very unprofessional! *Trained your new hair stylist first but not in customer's hair rather on site. Pros: Parking, excellent service. beautiful place. Cons: NONE! more
