A recent dinner for an annual girls night out became unpleasant as we (and several other diners) were pressured out of the restaurant. The restuarant booked late reservations (probably to keep full as late as possible), despite a late night charity dinner later that evening. We were not told this even though we made our reservation for 8:30pm. As the evening progressed, it was apparent that something was going a - a sound check and feather centerpieces?!? Our server tried to be accomodating, but the management kept hovering about and looking at our plates to see if we were almost done. At first it was a slight annoyance, but it became tense and nerve wracking. We had to ask to talk to the manager, and his totally insincere and weak attempt to make things ""right"" didn't work. He was obviously more concerned about the charity patrons who were arriving. We don't plan on going back, despite the good food. Good service for ALL should be the priority - not just $$$$.
