I'm trying to visit all the tobacconists in the area to see who has the most to offer, and this place is pretty good. There was a very cute young woman behind the counter that was very helpful and they have a good selection of English blends which is the mark of a good shop as far as I'm concerned. You'll also find lots of tobacco in bulk for those who like aromatics. I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to browse, but they had a TON of pipes, quite a few appearing to be estates (for the budget minded). Not being a cigar smoker I didn't pay a lot of attention to what there was to offer but I can tell you it was all housed in a very nice humidor and it was stacked floor to ceiling. \r

I've never even heard of this place although it's been around since 1977 I believe. Parking is a little inconvenient (I was able to park on the curb right in front of the store but I did not feed the parking meter and no I didn't get caught ; ) ) but I understand they have more parking around back. I'm now a big fan of Elliston Place Pipe and Tobacco and will be back soon. This is the first truly positive experience I've written about here at citysearch so for those of you who's businesses I've visited and given a bad review to, visit THIS smoke shop. They are doing it right here.........
Pros: Selection, selection, selection............ awesome staff
Cons: I would have to get real picky to find anything
more
