Poorest County in Georgia 5/15/2008

If you are traveling to rural areas in Georgia, avoid this county at all costs, or you will pay in some form, including money at high revenues. The sheriff of this county is Tomelyn Primus. He has possessed this position for almost eight years, but have failed terribly to contribute and advance this county to even 1/8 of its potential. He is very rude and unprofessional. His deputies and staff are corrupted and vindictive. He has done nothing positive during his office terms, and the undevelopment of this county in addition to the poorest conditions of his jail, staff, and deputies, clearly exhibits his abilities and intentions as a sheriff. I highly recommend the people of Hancock County to release this incompetence of a sheriff, write him off as damaged goods, and reelect a more people oriented, honest, honorable, and fair official that will uplift their community instead of ruin and corrupt it. Pros: Very natural environment, full of nature, with happy friendly people who waves just as eagerly to strangers Cons: Law Enforcement and Justice Department disregards the law and denies/unsupports any respect for human rights to people. more
