For Memorial day weekend i decided to bear the congested traffic and drive my girls out to Palm Springs for the holiday weekend. My daughters and i were very excited about this trip. We even took Friday off so we could leave thursday and have a four day weekend. Of course on thursday the traffic was terrible because it was raining, there were tornados in odd places and Southern Californians always forget how to drive once water hits the asphalt. I tried to keep my nerves and not get frazzled by the dangerous driving conditions but my tire blew out around the windmill area. After my semi-heartattack i wished i could just cancel the trip and go to bed but i was closer to palm springs then my home by this point so i had to be the adult in the situation and get us going again. I called my roadside assistance and they called back to tell us All American Towing was going to change our tire for us. I didn't care who they sent, i just wanted us to be moving with traffic again and not have it buzzing by my car. Stranded on the freeway in the rain is quite the frightening experience. The driver got to us about 20 minutes before they said he would which was the best thing in the world. He was so nice, i felt sorry for him having to be out there in the rain. He definately was a trooper, he finished the job right away, was super nice and had us on the road again. I totally want to tell people about All American towing because they were a highlight in my bad situation.
