My husband and I moved to Iowa in March. We chose Martinizing because it was close to our home and had convenient hours. What a mistake! Within 3 weeks, they had ruined 2 of my husband's shirts--one ripped straight up the back!--one pair of his pants and one pair of my slacks (worn only once). When I brought this to their attention, I was told they would pay for the shirt. Upon returning home 15 minutes later, however, I had an extremely rude message from Martinizing on my voicemail, in effect stating that the shirt was ""frayed"", and thus the rip was not their fault. She then went on to state that ""maybe they should call me in the future before they did anymore of my ""frayed"" shirts."" How insulting! I have been taking my husband's shirts to be laundered and pressed for 12 years in 3 states, and have never had any issue. My husband is a senior executive at an international investment firm; each shirt costs between $100-$200. I hardly think quality was the issue. The issue is the cleaners not paying attention.
Cons: Ruined clothing, rude and unresponsive management
