Ignore the previous reviewer "Igorslavin" who clearly was out to bash Day's Coffee for some sort of personal agenda, with ridiculous, hate-speech-filled, and libelous comments like "pretentious ultra liberal, gay-filled cesspool", "The outside tables are full of drooling old packers who leer at every passerby, desperate for a trick", and "In fact, cross the street and avoid the storefront altogether". Sounds like somebody has issues!
I frequented Day's Coffee for three YEARS before I even knew that it was sometimes popular with people of alternative lifestyles, so it certainly does NOT knock you over the head with liberalism. It's a coffee place. People go there and drink coffee. That's all.
Visit it and see for yourself - they have great coffee and desserts, and have a much quieter, friendlier, laidback atmosphere than a lot of other places. I've been to all the coffee shops in town, and Days remains one of my very favorites. I've also held business meetings there in the side area, and everyone found it most pleasant.
