My husband purchased a gift card for me for $135.00, evidently a new owner took over. When I called to make appoinment I explained I had a gift certificate, the new owner-Monica said she would not honor that certificate. I asked her if there was anything she could do for me and she said NO that was the old owner's responsibility she then handed the phone off to an emplyee without even telling me. As a customer that spent money (no matter what the dollar amount) should have some way met me half way (which I did ask her and she said NO to that too) you feel like you 've been ripped off not to mention for good business and a good business owner should have done something. She was very unprofessional and unexperienced. The out come was I contacted the old owner (Nancie-Soothing Elements) and she was very apologetic for the way I was treated by Salon Monae and refunded me my full $135.00 within 1 day. To me that is awesome customer service and I would definately buy from an owner like Nancie rather than Salon Monae. I know accomodating customer's can sometimes get frustrating, but when a customer's right as a business owner that comes with the territory and you need to be professional and handle the situation not push it off on someone else.
