My family and I went to Barolo's on April 12th. We had 7:30 reservations. We were the first and only people in line. The hostess said it would be a few minutes. Other people arrived after us (6 tables were seated) and were seated before us. I noticed there were many vacant tables even after the 6 tables were seated. Finally were seated at 8:00. The whole time we were there ( 2 hours) the owner/chef was standing around talking to customers. If I were an owner I would be helping out my staff and not standing around talking. The fish and sausage and pasta dish were good, however the Tusany NY strip was salty. The beef base used to make the sauce was too concentrated. I was constantly drinking water. The waiter was slow. If I am paiding $148.00 for a party of three I expect better service. I will not be back nor recommend this restaurant to anybody. Pros: Desserts were good. Atmposhere was good. Cons: Very poor service both the hostess and waiter. Owner was standing around talking to customers for at least 2 hours. Resevervations don't help. We were left waiting 30 minutes with reservations. more
