Hi, I am leaving this review for all the Parents that are ever considering Pediatric Diagnostic as Doctor's for their children.I chose this group because so many people recommended them to us.We placed all our trust in them to give the best medical care possible to our children. Our most precious possessions. We trusted the Doctor's we chose to give us the best medical care humanly possible. That is why I am telling my story today to be able to help more parents who may not know how easily you can fall between the cracks of the system without the proper protocal and or ""medical lingo"" to use when you run into a emergency situation with your child. My child had been seeing an ENT and an Allergist for sinus problems for about 5 months. When we had an emergency with him where we were not sure whether he had meningitis or staph infection and after a horrific long night of pain so severe in his head and stomach I chose to take him to the emergency romm at T.C.Thompsons Children's hospital.I called PD on the way to inform them of what was going on and to ask what did I need to do, they told me to go and they would triage him thru and they would tell Gary Meredith the situation. I questioned the receptionist about this and again was told to go on and they would triage him on thru. While at the emergency room I was asked who his Dr. was and I told them. The emergency visit was incompetant from the start. I had to be my own childs Dr. and still was sent out, giving my 11 yr.old a Hydrocodone w/ 32,000ct wbc. After 2 CT scans on Gunbarrel rd. instead of being kept in the hospital(because a Ped. Dr. did not admit him)We were back in the the hospital by evening. We still did not have a Ped. Dr., our ENT was told since he had not been seen by Meredith in 5 years(but he had been seen be others in the practice) he was not a patient of PD. So,after a horrible night of pain with no Dr. to issue any meds. We were left to wonder, What is the proper protocol?Do not be caught w/o a Dr.!
Cons: Rude Staff---arrogance and nurses who do not give messages to Dr's
