I've been there 3 times. Each time the vet was very cold and just seemed to be going through the motions. Twice was for my dog which one of the times was getting a price on a surgery which they wanted to charge $3000 for where I went to another vet which was much more caring and explained things and charged me $750 for the same surgery that VCA wanted to charge $3000. \r
Another time was to help a friend with her cat to be put to sleep because of kidney failure. Same vet and the vet was very cold as I stayed with the cat while it was being put to sleep. \r

The front desk was nice although extremely busy and seemed unorganized.
