I have been taking my dog to Montgomery Animal Hospital for nearly two years now. The two veterinarians, Parish and Jaffe, are friendly enough and reasonably pleasant, but in most other categories I would rate them no better than average. In general, the fees charged seem excessive compared to other providers in the area and the interaction with the vet is brief ? they seem to spend more time preparing the bill then examining your pet. My biggest apprehension arose from a very simple and telling situation which made me believe that their primary motivation is making money ? with the customer a very distant second. Why is this so very - very important? Simply put, someone?s advice should be based upon what?s best for my pet, not what?s going to put the most dollars in their pocket. When it comes to a big decision ? are they going to advise a lot of painful procedures simply because it?s more profitable? Not a risk worth taking! \r
