My girlfriend and I drive all the way to O'fallon from St. Louis because we like this location so much. The owner is a friendly guy who remembers his patrons and comes out to make sure everything is ok. That's a special kind of customer service I don't often receive.. His staff is equally attentive - we usually don't have to get up to walk to the counter to ask for a go-box and they stop by several times to check on our drinks for us. The food quality is always, always, always the same - excellent. We haven't had a bad pizza from this place. When we were growing up we both loved Pantera's. Then they all disappeared. So when we found this one out in O'fallon, and drove out and found the quality and service to be great - we were hooked. If you haven't had Pantera's the crust is very clean and fresht asting. It has a pretzel like quality to it and the outer edges are delicious. Rich thick spicy sauce and their cheese is also rich and delicious and plentiful. The black olives (one of our favorites) are hearty and sweet. It's good. No joke.\r

To make things even better - they have chilled glass pitchers and chilled glasses for beer and the glasses have been clean every time so far!@\r

We love this pizza enought hat we drive almost 20 miles to get it. Writing this review has gotten me a little hungry - I'm craving it.\r

Its true the pizza might cost a dollar or two more than the local chain restaurant, but give the guy a break - he's using REAL cheese and choice toppings - and his dough is never old and sour. I worked at pizza hut - they NEVER NEVER NEVER get those pan pizza pans clean - trust me! They are filthy! This place is CLEAN - you can tell by the taste of the crust.\r

And the beer pitchers are some of the cheapest around - so it all balances out in the end.
Pros: quality toppings, real cheese, good sauce recipe, clean fresh crust, attentive service, cheap beer, chilled glass pitchers
Cons: Look at that list of ""pros"" - what more could you want from a pizza place?
