I am French, I live in the Beacon Hill and I am very picky about food and cheese, and Savenor has a good selection of both AND something rare in the US, the cheese are actually eatable! The service is very nice and friendly and the vegetables are fresh. \r

Hints: If you buy a French cheese (and any French product), it is mandatory in France to indicate the expiration date of the product (a consommer de preference avant) and not the ""best sale date""... if you see a product which expiration date was yesterday DON'T EAT IT, if you see a product where the expiration date do not appear or was hidden or removed, DON'T EAT IT. \r
I am shocked all the time I see this happen and it happens very often in other high-end grocery shops (check De Lucas on the other end of Charles Street if you want to see)
