Needs work... 4/11/2008

Every time I come into this store, I leave disappointed and put out. The only reason I shop here is for the prices and I seem to think they can turn things around. The staff don't seem to care and let their poor attitudes show through. Unfortunately, they take out their problems on the customers, which is simply unacceptable. There are few and far between really ""nice"" people at this particular Wal-mart. Just today, these three gals who worked there were complaining about somebody else who worked there who was on the overhead asking for particular people to come to a meeting. There were many people standing there, but they didn't seem to notice. If they did notice, they paid no mind. I tried asking a gal in the jewelry department to help me figure out what type of battery I needed for something and they shrugged their shoulders and told me they didn't have any idea. Instead of getting somebody that maybe ""could"" help me, they chose to not do anything. This is outstanding customer service? I think not. Not one time has anybody ever offered their assistance. There are no warm smiles. When my family shops there, the shelves are always unstocked. I know they are busy, but the same items constantly out of stock? Would one not think to order MORE of the product? No matter what time of any day I come in, items are constantly being reordered and it's the waiting game. The lines are ridiculous. Nobody should have to wait in the aisles just to check out. Overall, this particular store is very unfriendly and disappointing. If you do find a good egg, they are few and far between. I gave this a two as I stand by the prices, but it would be outstanding if somebody could teach an etiquette class. Pros: cheap prices Cons: staff will NOT go out of their way to help a customer, always have to wait in line, items often left unstocked more
