Don't judge this book by its cover! I drove by it for 2 1/2 years as the outside does not advertise how spectacular this restaurant is. A hidden gem indeed, L'affair Cafe completely bowled me over. I went over on a whim for a late-ish dessert and drink with a friend. We were so impressed, we ended up getting a sampling of dishes from the menu and were pleasantly surprised by every single one. Wonderful escargot, french onion soup, and one of the best creme brulees I've had. A real-live, gourmet restaurant, that is NOT of the regular, national, cookie-cutter variety. Adorable, and romantic, french country interior. A special treat - Absolutely love!
Pros: great food, a nice break from the average
Cons: a little expensive, but worth it
