We had a reservation and according to the host, they were 30-45 min behind in service. He told us we could go to the bar and have a drink ON THE HOUSE for having to wait. We all ordered a beer or glass of wine and when we were seated, the waitress asked who had which drink to add to our tab. We explained what the host told us and she replied rudely ""No he would never do that"" She got the bartender who started to tell us that we all must have selective hearing. We asked for the host to come over and we asked him directly, did he not offer us a drink on the house? He wouldn't look us in the eye and said no he didn't then scurried off. We all were shocked! My friend told the bartender and waitress that we could totally afford our own drinks, that wasn't the issue. We were being treated poorly for a mistake their staff made. The bartender and waitress then said some other very rude things to us about our ""selective hearing"" and that it must be a misunderstanding on our part. We decided to pay for the drinks and leave. As we were leaving the bartender stood at the door with his arms crossed, glaring at us like we were common criminals. I have never been treated so poorly in my life at an establishment. The other patrons around us even commented that they were 100% in the wrong. So terrible service, lying hosts and rude bartenders. I would never go back there.
