I had heard mixed reviews of Freddie's from my friends so I decided to try it. The first time I tried freddie's steaks was also going to be the last time. When the steak I ordered had arrived I was anxcious to try it. All I can say is, all I tasted was liquid smoke. It was so overwhelming that I could not even taste the steak. My experience has been that if someone smothers a steak in something like liquid smoke or some other sauce, that the steak must not be good on it's own. I was very disappointed. The only thing I enjoyed was the riblet that was served with a cabbage roll.
