I moved here from Florida, with a brief stop in Nebraska. In Nebraska my 12 year old rottweiler started limping really bad and she was was diagnosed with arthritis,(from x-rays), in October. I was given Previcox and it helped for awhile.\r
In January Harlie could not bear weight on her ""arthritic"" leg and was in tremendous pain. I called Serenity on the advice of my roommate, and they got her right in. I explained her history and Dr. Michelle asked to run more x-rays to find out more. Harlie had a fractured shoulder due to the deterioration of her bone from cancer. Sad news, but a great catch, that was missed just 2-3 months earlier. I was given more information and the number of a specialist to confirm it and to do the surgery... they gave money away to have a specialist look at my baby.\r
The specialist confirmed it, I had Dr. Michelle do the surgery. Trust issue. I also elected to have Serenity do the chemotherapy, but a specialist has to do 3 of the 6 procedures. Again, money given away to ensure the best care for my baby.\r
Since the surgery Harlie ate something that had to be surgically removed. A big risk in her weakened state from chemo. That weekend the staff let me visit with Harlie and a med tech came in on her day off, to reset Harlie's IV when her veins colapsed. The tech also called Dr. Michelle, (out of town on vacation), and updated her of Harlie's status. Dr. Michelle came in on Sunday and personally checked on Harlie.\r
I have never received such devoted attention to one of my kids, without which, Harlie would not have made it through the weekend. All of the staff go out of their way to help Harlie. All know her name and pet her. Several of them stayed in her pen with her while she slept. There is not enough space here to tell all of the things done for her or name all of the people who comforted her and genuinely care how she is doing.\r
Cost of a service can only be measured in what you receive, and you will receive far more than what you pay.
