My first time to visit The Nodding Dog was yesterday with a friend, for lunch. From the moment we stepped into this deligtfully eclectic cafe, we were greeted by the owner, Darren, and quickly began discussing the menu and his recommendations. Since Darren operates The Nodding Dog as well as bakes, cooks and serves, he was able to steer us precisely to what our palettes would find agreeable.
Pros: Terrific ambience, excellent service, warm, delicious food and desserts
Cons: The Bishop Arts District is a bit out of the way for some (like me), but otherwise, none
