Recently, our family, spent one night at LDL. It was a weekend and so the hotel was crowded. It is a nice facility and I think they want to project a Vegas feel. But it is not Las Vegas. The room was nice, relatively clean; however, it felt crowded. We were on the 16th floor and had a good view of the lazy pool. After we went to bed, I could hear other people talking from their rooms. The ""noise"" was coming through the vent.
Pros: If you live reasonable distance to Lake Charles it's an okay place to go
Cons: too expensive for what you get
more
