I actually worked as a toddler teacher in the Yukon facility. In the short time I was employed there I witnessed MANY violations. I had never worked in a daycare facility before and the girl that was training me was the most ridiculous person I had ever met. She couldn't have been older than 18 and it showed. When it came time to put the children down for there nap her instructions for putting a child to sleep were horrible. Her first instruction was to place the blankets over the childrens heads. I soon realized that the blanket thing was a common practice in this facility. Even in the infant room!!! Now that is just a small start to all the horrible things I had witnessed. During the two months I worked there the same young lady I spoke about earlier moved to the infant room once I was ""trained"". During her stay in that room the daycare ""supervisor"" caught this young lady sleeping while she was in charge of 4 babies too young to walk or talk. Now something everyone should know about the "" supervisor"" is that she has NO backbone. In all her time working there she has yet to fire anyone no matter how deserving they may be. As a matter of fact the teacher in charge of the three year old class was caught pulling a young ladies hair and also had 2 children escape and run out towards Mustang Rd. which as you all know is very busy. She was never fired for either infraction. She didn't even recieve any sort of lecture. Neglect wasn't the only thing I had witnessed during my time at kindercare. Cleanliness was also not one of their top priorities. The two highchairs in the infant room were in horrible condition. There was actually mold growing on the underside of the padding. This was brought to the directors attention at least 3 different times that I know of. They were never replaced! Im just warning you as a concerned new parent looking for a good daycare myself... DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!
Cons: Too many to list
