I went to Salon Ambiance because of all the positive reviews on this site. I have never gotten my hair cut at a place fancier than Super Cuts and always have dyed my own hair. This time I decided to treat myself and get a real haircut. The prices are very good here and the customer service is great. The outside of the building doesnt look like much, but inside it is very inviting and NOT snobby at all (hello Tony and Guy!). I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but Rebecca was very nice and helped me pick out a style that would flatter my face the most. She did an excellent job and I received so many compliments already! I will definitely go back again. The only con I have is that she left some dye on my forehead and I had to scrub it off when I came home :( Overall, though, a great place to go and worth the drive.
Pros: atmosphere, staff, rebecca b, great haircut/color, great prices, helpful staff
Cons: it's far away from the 405, leaving with dye on my skin
