My father-in-law is a petient of Dr . Borookhim and since he has been his patient he has been as healthy and active as he was 20 years ago. Last year he was taken to the emergency department in Cedars-Sinai hopsital for very low sugar level, there my husband got to know about Dr Borookhim. The first time when my father-in-law went to see Dr .Borookhim he was barely able to walk, in a nut shell he was not in a very good shape. But since then his condition started to improve .His regular doctor before just used to see him once every few months and never discussed anything about his condition with us . This is never the case with Dr. Borookhim , he makes it a point to discuss his medications , his test results and any changes in his condition with us. Not only that ,he personally calls and explains the changes he makes with his medication and the reason for the changes. Dr. Borookhim is not only a dedicated physician , but also a kind , polite and an amazing human being , which are the qualities that makes him a ""GREAT"" doctor . Our family feels very ""fortunate"" to have known him as a physician and as a person.
